I am a psychologist licensed by the state of Oregon. I was trained in a Counseling Psychology doctoral program (University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2014) accredited by the American Psychological Association before moving back to the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
I am a generalist by training and eclectic in my approach although my areas of specialization are trauma, substance use, identity development, mood, and anxiety. I have extensive experience working with college students, LGBTQIA/queer individuals and couples, and trauma survivors.
I tend to utilize a variety of methods and techniques in my work, including person-centered, interpersonal process, relational-cultural, and cognitive-behavioral among others. I have a strong feminist-based approach to therapy (and life) and believe strongly in therapy and in establishing a strong therapeutic relationship in order to best serve your needs.
